About Carrie Champine, DO

Carrie Champine, DO, attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where she graduated with Cum Laude honors. She obtained her Doctor of Osteopathy at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan, and then completed both her internship and residency at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, in Obstetrics and Gynecology. During her residency, Dr. Champine served as Chief Resident in her program.

Dr. Champine has been in private practice since 2006. She was in private practice for six years at Partridge Creek Center for Women’s Health in Macomb, Michigan where she was actively involved in teaching medical students and residents. In 2013, Dr. Champine relocated to Blacksburg, Virginia, where she joined Montgomery Ob/Gyn. Dr. Champine serves as the Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Champine is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Osteopathic Association, and the North American Menopause Society. She is board-certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and is also professionally certified by the North American Menopause Society. Dr. Champine is a certified instructor in Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics.

Dr. Champine is married and has four kids. Her and her family have called the New River Valley home for the last three years.

Dr. Champine is currently welcoming new patients and referrals.
